1945 - December 13, 2026
It is with great sadness that I advise that our dear friend Richard Sekel passed away last Sunday 13 September.
Richard was born in 1945, proudly in Sans Souci (Sydney). He joined Betar aged 7 and was a founding member of the Sydney Betar breakfast group. Richard was also a founding member and President of the Australasian Association of Medico-Legal Providers.
Many will remember Richard as 'ben Yosef' following his exploits in the bushfires at the 1961 Betar Point Lonsdale camp.
Richard left behind his adoring wife, Nada, children Kim and Danny (both living in Israel with their five children) and many, many friends.
He is sadly missed.
